Est. 2021 · Wembley

A car park,
a sunset, an idea

Solaire began as a stubborn hunch: that the best view in NW10 was being wasted fourteen floors up, and that North-West London deserved somewhere to watch the sun go down with a drink in hand.

The story

From rooftop car park to the roof everyone talks about

In the summer of 2021, two friends from Sudbury — an events promoter and a chef tired of windowless kitchens — climbed onto the top deck of a half-empty car park off Olympic Way. The stadium arch was glowing pink, the whole of NW London stretched out below, and the sun was sliding behind the rooftops. They looked at each other and thought the same thing: why is nobody up here?

Eighteen months, a great deal of paperwork and a lot of planters later, Solaire opened. We kept the raw concrete and the unbeatable view, and added everything that makes an evening: warm light, a proper sound system, a kitchen that takes brunch seriously, and staff who actually want you to have a good time.

We're not a basement and we're not pretending to be Ibiza. We're a Wembley rooftop that does golden hour better than anywhere in the borough — open-air, unhurried, and yours from four o'clock until late.

What we stand for

Three things we never cut corners on

01

The view comes first

Every table, every cabana and every seat at the bar is positioned for the sunset. We turned the building to face west so you don't have to.

02

Warm, never stuffy

No clipboard attitude, no velvet-rope theatre. Friendly door, generous pours and a team from the local area who treat you like a regular from night one.

03

Made in NW London

Our spritzes use a Cricklewood distillery, our brunch bread is baked in Kilburn, and our DJs come up through Wembley. We back the neighbourhood that backs us.
