Lustre began with a simple frustration: too many facials feel like theatre and deliver nothing lasting. We built the opposite.
Founded 2017, Pinner
From a frustrated facialist to NW London's glass-skin studio.
Our founder, Maya, trained as an aesthetician in Seoul and spent six years in busy West End clinics. She loved the craft but not the churn — clients booked in, glowed for a weekend, then drifted back to square one. The results never compounded.
So in 2017 she took a small unit on Pinner High Street and made a quiet promise: every visit would build on the last. That meant proper skin mapping, honest advice, medical-grade actives used responsibly, and absolutely no upselling people into things their skin didn't need.
Nine years on, Lustre is a five-room studio with a waitlist, a devoted Skin Club, and a reputation that travels from Harrow to Hampstead. The promise hasn't changed.
