Why Walthamstow loves us

A neighbourhood café that actually feels like one

We opened in a former hardware shop in 2019 with a single deck oven and a borrowed grinder. Six years on, we're still independent, still on Orford Road, and still here for the regulars who know our staff by name.

The weekend brunch plate is the best in E17, hands down. They remember my order, my dog gets a biscuit, and the flat whites are flawless. Our Saturday ritual.

I did the latte-art class for my partner's birthday and we still can't stop talking about it. Tom is a brilliant teacher and we left with actual skills — and a free pastry box.

We hired the café for a baby shower and it was perfect — warm, relaxed, and the bottomless brunch kept everyone happy. Proper neighbourhood spot run by lovely people.
